The Greenbush Soccer Club is happy to announce the hiring of Jim Clementi as our Director of Coaching. In this role, Jim will assist with player and coach development at both the recreational and travel soccer levels. The Director of Coaching is a new position for the club, and one we anticipate will provide a higher level of skill development and a better overall experience for all of our players.
Jim began working with the club on August 1, and will be providing technical player and coach development advice, evaluating players, offering assistance in planning training sessions, and providing the club with guidance to ensure our players get the best possible experience, develop their soccer skills, and enjoy the game of soccer. Jim has already proven to be a valuable resource for the club, and we look forward to his continued contributions.

Jim Clementi's Bio
Jim Clementi was named Director of Coaching for the Greenbush Soccer Club in 2016. In addition to his role with Greenbush, Clementi works as an assistant men’s soccer coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in a full-time capacity. At RPI, he helped lead the team to the second round of the 2015 NCAA Tournament.
Prior to arriving at RPI, Clementi worked as the lead assistant coach at Ramapo College of New Jersey for the men’s soccer program. During this time, Clementi also worked as a head coach for Torpedoes Soccer Club.
Clementi previously served as the Head Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at Hawthorne High School in 2012 and 2013 and was named the 2013 NJIC Colonial Coach of the Year. Clementi also served as a coach for the ENYYSA Olympic Development State Staff, where he trained players focusing on technical and tactical development.
As a player, Clementi was a four-year member of the Ramapo College Men’s Soccer program, captaining the team for three seasons. He started all 61 games he was available for and was an NJAC All-Conference selection in 2009 and 2010.
Prior to his collegiate playing career, Clementi helped lead the Shawnee High School soccer team to a 27-0-0 record capturing the NJ Group III State Championship and SJ Coaches Tournament Championship in 2006.
Clementi graduated from Ramapo College in 2011 with a degree in mathematics. He completed his master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University – Irvine in 2015.
Clementi holds an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
